Criteria for Employee of the Year - Other Businesses

This category was created by the Chamber Awards Committee to honor an outstanding employee from businesses with fewer employees than
the large employers. This recipient of this award can be from any business, such as retail, professional office, food service, etc. The
employer must be a member of the Huntsville Area Chamber of Commerce.
Employee of the Year
- The Chamber of Commerce gives only one Employee of the Year Award
- This recipient of this award can be from any business located in Madison County
- The business or professional office must be a member of the Huntsville Area Chamber of Commerce
- Any employer, who is a member of the Chamber, may submit a name of one of their employees for consideration to the Chamber Awards Committee
- The employer member must submit information with their nomination as to why their respective employee should receive the award
- The Chamber Awards Committee considers all nominations received and selects one winner
- The Employer will be notified if their employee is selected as the winner
- The Chamber Awards Committee will order and furnish the award
- The Chamber will also provide one banquet ticket for the employee
- The presentation of the award at the banquet is made by the employer

information requested. This is all the information the selection committee will have in order to make their decision.
