Criteria for School Awards

There are six awards given in this category each year: Employee of the year and student of the year for the Huntsville Campus of the Huntsville School District;
Employee of the year and student of the year for the Saint Paul Campus of the Huntsville School District;
Employee of the year and student of the year for the Kingston School District;
Employee of the Year from the Huntsville Campus
- The Huntsville Campus gives one Employee of the Year Award
- School officials select the recipient
- The recipient may be a teacher, administrator, office staff or other support staff memmber
- School officials submit the name of their receipient to the Chamber Awards Committee who order the award
- The presentation of the award at the banquet is made by a school official
- The Chamber will furnish a ticket for the banquet for the employee

- The Saint Paul Campus gives one Employee of the Year Award
- School officials select the recipient
- The recipient may be a teacher, administrator, office staff or other support staff memmber
- School officials submit the name of their receipient to the Chamber Awards Committee who order the award
- The presentation of the award at the banquet is made by a school official
- The Chamber will furnish a ticket for the banquet for the employee
Employee of the Year from the Kingston Campus
- The Kingston Campus gives one Employee of the Year Award
- School officials select the recipient
- The recipient may be a teacher, administrator, office staff or other support staff memmber
- School officials submit the name of their receipient to the Chamber Awards Committee who order the award
- The presentation of the award at the banquet is made by a school official
- The Chamber will furnish a ticket for the banquet for the employee
Students of the Year from the Huntsville, Saint Paul, and Kingston Campuses
- Each School Campus, one at Huntsville, one at Saint Paul, and one at Kingston gives one Student of the Year Award
- Only students enrolled in grades 10 - 12 are eligible
- School officials select the recipient
- Selection should be based on academic ability, citizenship, community service, and involvement in school activities
- For exmaple, a student with perfect grades but with no involement in the community or limited school activites should not be considered
- School officials submit the name of their receipient to the Chamber Awards Committee who order the award
- The presentation of the award at the banquet is made by a school official
- The Chamber will furnish a ticket for the banquet for the student
