Criteria for Chamber Star Awards

This award(s) can be given to any person, business, or organization for any reason approved by the President of the Chamber. This award should be given to recognize some outstanding contribution or act which is not covered by any other of the chamber awards.

Only Officers and Board Members can nominate a person, a couple, a business, an organization or group to receive a Star Award. All nominations will be forwarded to the Awards Committee who will make a recommendation to the Chamber of Commerce President as to the presentation of the Award. The Chamber President must approve all Star Awards.

Only an Officer or Board member may nominate for this award. If you know someone who you feel is worthy, please contact an officer or board member.

Outside and Special Awards

Any member organization may present a special award at the Annual Banquet by contacting the Executive Director and obtaining approval prior to the event. The request must be made at least 14 days in advance so as the presentation may be included in the program. The award must be suitable for presentation at the event and if a certificate, it must be framed.
