An Introduction to the Chamber's Strategic Plan

History and Introduction to the Plan

In the spring of 2007, the Huntsville Area Chamber of Commerce set about to develop a long and short range plan for the organization. The Officers, Board of Directors and several members developed this plan which was adopted by the Board of Directors.

The plan consists of:
  1. a mission statement;
  2. 4 objectives that should complete the mission of the chamber;
  3. 18 goals needed to reach the aformentioned 4 objectives;
  4. 85 strategies which when implemented, should complete the 18 goals;

The four main objectives of the plan are once again repeated below. The goals and strategies for completing these objectives can be viewed by accessing the appropriate objective from the menu on the left of this page.
